On the 7th of May, 2022, the students of the NSS Unit of Gauthami Degree College, Kukatpally have conducted a Mask Awareness Programme in the areas in the vicinity of Kukatpally Metro Station, Shanthi Nagar, Vivekananda Nagar, etc.
With the permission of the Station House Officer of Kukatpally Police Station Inspector Narsingh Rao, the NSS Unit went on the streets explaining the needs of wearing facemasks in a post pandemic environment.
Locals supported enthusiastically and masks were distributed amongst the locals and those waiting at traffic signals without facemasks.
